1916 BOY SCOUT Membership Card Issued to Expire 1925 + Holder
Colorful three-fold membership card is a form copyrighted 1916 and issued for the year ending 1925, plus the original slip-case holder for the card.
Card front, the center of the three panels in the first scan, shows five scenes of Boy Scouts, has an American 48-star flag, and the words Loyalty, Patriotism and Service on ribbons. The panel to the right has the mottos “Be Prepared” and “Do a Good Turn Daily.”  On the reverse, another panel has the Scout Oath and The Scout Laws.  There is provision for recording the Scouts history, Merit Badges and Dues Payments.
The slip-case holder is from Scout Supply Dept., N.Y., N.Y. and advertises the magazine “Boys’ Life” which is published by the Boy Scouts of America.  Case is 2-3/4 by 4 inches.
Both items in overall good condition.
