    Description

    Handsome fold-out 1970 Arco road map of Philadelphia and vicinity, printed more than 47 years ago.
    The map opens to 23" x 32" and has great detail on old street and highway alignments, with cartography by Rand McNally.
    The coverage area extends from Pottstown to Trenton, south to Wilmington and Glassboro, including Norristown, Chester, Levittown, Media, and Camden.
    The map also shows railroads.
    The map was distributed by the Atlantic Richfield Company in 1970 to promote its Arco brand. It is dated in the legend, and the code number in the lower margin is 706501-5.
    The artwork on the back cover shows three service station signs: Atlantic, Richfield, and Sinclair.
